Nani and possibly my best picture yet...
Hello one and all. And a very special hello to those of you reading whom I have never met! So cool to have you peer into the ramblings that fall out of my head.
I'd like to introduce you all to my new friend Nani. He's a little guy. White. Shining white, actually. And silver, strangely enough. Most people know him as iPod Nano, but I called him Nani so we could bond further.
My old iPod Shuffle is missing in action somewhere on the Lakeside YWAM base in Montana. It'll probably turn up later on. And when it does I just may auction the thing off to the highest blog bidder with all my Kayle Points that I have handed out.
Anyways...
I'm so amazed with technology these days. In my hand I hold this crazy little thing not much bigger then my business cards and it holds 2 GB of storage space. I remember the first computer our family ever got and it had 40 Megs of memory. And we were on the cutting edge. Yikes. And not only does little Nani hold music, but I can stick pictures in there, my entire address book, notes, my daytimer, an alarm clock throughout the day, change the language to Russian or Japanese, play with a ton of EQ settings and even create my own. I can now load up whole sermons, the Bible to be like my brother and my dad, and who knows what else.
This can actually make me more productive. Amazing.
And.... get ready for it... I will be doing the unthinkable for a Kayle... I will be getting a cell phone. AAAAAAAAAA!!!! This is a sure sign that Jesus is returning soon. This is the last thing I've ever wanted to do, but it appears that it may be neccessary to do so. Well, it is kind of neccessary. With making meeting times with MPs, Senators and churches all over the place it becomes rather important to have an official phone line rather then to call my house and leave a message on our family phone.
So since these next few weeks will hold a lot of meetings with MPs and churches I should probably get on that. Maybe even update my business cards. And open a couple more bank accounts. Yikes... these are the very things that people like me do not always like doing. I just want to be able to snap my fingers and have it done. I'm not that rich yet, so I guess I can do the dirty work myself. hahahahaha!!
I'm kind of wierd like that. If it's for someone else, I wouldn't mind doing it. In fact, I'd have fun. But if it's for me suddenly I get intimated and don't really feel like doing it. Wacky internal workings, huh? But since when have I been a normal one?
Pray for me.... hahaha.... no really!
And Jesus said he would give us the keys to the Kingdom!?!??!! Amazingly enough... yes!!
