Gong Show Here We Come!!!
You heard it folks. Prepare yourself for the immanent arrival of the strongest gong show ever to hit our shores. How does one prepare for the gong show? You get cameras, video cameras, rubber pants for the amount of laughing you'll do and probably a helmet.
This gong show is going to take the form of Andy, Bryan, David, Heath, Shauna, Kayle, Ma and Pa Mumby all living under one roof for about four days. I just got off the phone with the majority of those people and this could be the greatest event of our time. Christmas? What's that? I'm excited for December 29th and the arrival of my friends!
Add in the rest of the Mumby Family, Peter and his crew and you got yourself one mess waiting to happen.
Pray for the perfect sledding conditions. And forgiving bone structures.
Hmmmm... what else to write? Today Andy, Peter and I had a very interesting conversation with a very Russian man outside of West Edmonton Mall. He worked at a music shop in the store selling pianos and violins and such. He called it his prision. We could hardly understand a word the guy was saying, but it was pretty cool. I love the Russian accent. And when they say really funny things... such as being employed by Environment Canada because he goes outside so many times to check the weather... and get away from his prision cell.
Strange people afoot.
And, I went into one of the bathrooms in West Ed, which is usually a fairly frightening experience, but this time it was much better. It was busy, people everywhere and a man sitting in one of the stalls was whistling away along with the christmas music playing. Best of all he was whistling along with the children's part in the song. That was a bit odd. Not the sort of thing I would do on the can in a public restroom.
We'll probably run into a good bunch more of them tomorrow. I'm meeting up with a guy I haven't seen in a long time on the Jasper Ave Starbucks. Jasper Ave brings out many wierdo's and it's great fun to watch. Heck... we'll be there... what more do you need?

Hey Kayle, funny thing... my aunty & uncle are actually attending bethel right now. They keep saying I should go but I would really love to get someone else's views... would like to know what you thought of it (obviously you loved it)...
Anyway, if you wouldn't mind sharing, you can email me. therealmiller at gmail dot com. If not - no worries.
