This is my life. It can be odd. But I like it.

CD RAGE!!!!

Okay... okay... deep breaths Kayle...

That Narnia soundtrack CD is the hardest CD to get. I have been trying in one way or another for about 10 days now and I still am emtpy handed. You'd think I'd be able to find it in a city this big. But no... apparently all of the stores in Edmonton only ordered one copy of the CD. I will be trying again today. Pray for me.

Andy, Peter and I watched a certain movie called, "The Village" last night. All I can say is WOW that is one incredible movie. No swearing. No sex. No real huge special effects. A good portion of playing with your mind. One INCREDIBLE and profound movie. You all need to watch it. It has returned hope to me that Hollywood does actually have it's own creativity and doesn't have to remake old movies because they ran out of ideas. And it has also returned hope that someone out there can make a good movie that tells a story and that story doesn't need to be told through how many people you can do, kill and if you can get the f-bomb count above 600 in the first few minutes.

I would tell you more about the movie, but I can't because it will wreak it for you. Just watch it. You'll be happy you did. And you'll sit there thinking for about an hour and a half after the fact.

That's my update for today. I am going to finish Christmas shopping today too. That will be a happy moment. And then the wrapping begins. That's a lengthy unhappy moment. So once again I'm hoping that there are a lot of gift bags left over somewhere in the house...

Cheers and stuff to you all!

Hey, baby bro, after reading this blog, I feel like maybe I'm almost cool or something because I know all about "The Village." I guess I can't really take credit for it though. My son, Tavin, is crazy about M. Night Shyamalan who directed the film. (Tavin wants to be a film director himself.) Shyamalan also directed "Sixth Sense" and "Unbreakable" both of which I haven't seen. But I loved "Signs" with Mel Gibson - also a Shyamalan film - one of the most pro-faith movies I've ever seen come out of Hollywood.

Can't wait to see the Narnia movie. Saving that for Christmas Eve.

Cheers and stuff to you too!
