Then we'd write letters
Sometimes all I want to do is stick myself away somewhere far away and write. I'd write music. I'd write movies and musicals. I'd write books better then this world has yet seen. I'd write really long e-mails that you would love to read. I'd write letters on strange things and send them to you.
I'd like a nice little chalet up on top of a mountain. Preferably in Europe somewhere where life is slower, more meaningful, peaceful and full of culture. I'd invite you over and we'd sit on the porch taking in the amazing view. We'd comment on how our lives are much like a fairy tale or better yet, a dream come true.
We'd sit and watch the sun set. We'd stand in awe of the awesome power the starlight has on one's imagination and hope for things better. We'd wait until we were too cold and then move inside. Then we'd write letters. We'd write poems. We'd write songs and e-mails. We'd send them all over the world. We'd send them to you.
I bet you'd come. I'd make another bed up for you. Get everything right and perfect. Welcome you to the most peaceful place you've ever been. We would all get up really early, make amazing coffee or hot chocolate and watch the sun run through the valleys as it woke up the earth to kiss our face another day. We would all walk up to the peak over there and take in a sight only a select few have ever seen.
Then we'd sit and write letters. Letters to you. We'd write recipies for life. We'd tell tales of adventure and joy. We'd send you pictures, post cards and jars filled with the air of mountains. We'd ask you to come. I bet you would.
Soon we would all be there. Happy. Running. Dancing. Sitting. Playing. Napping. Laughing. Enjoying. Tasting awe once again. And we would all write letters. We'd write stories and plays. We'd write movies, e-mails, songs and dances. We'd paint, take pictures and make sandcastles somehow.
You'd come. You'd come if you knew what it was really like. I'll send you a letter.

Oh Kayle this was wonderful. I am moved and sad, mainly because I want this to be real. Thank you for sparking in me once again a passion for the imagination through words. This was well done my friend. Three cheers for Kayle and his magical blog! Hip, Hip, Hooray!!
ps. We would write and I think it would be fantastic. I wonder when I will get a chance to see you in real time and in person? I think we would have marvelous adventures.
