A Wonderful Evening

I really don't have time to update. But I know if I don't right now, I probably won't later.

Last night was really neat at the Old Flood. Something I have been wanting to do is meet new people there. For a long time I didn't want to meet anyone and I was perfectly happy being "that guy" who nobody knew on the back pew. Then that changed and a made a few friends. And now I want to get to know everyone!!

It's not that I was anti-social before, I just couldn't handle going to a place to look for people rather then for God. Since I didn't know anyone I could easily go for God. And now I am able to go for God in other people, which is nice.

I got to know a few peoples better last night, which really made me happy! Jaron, Nate, Kristy-anne and I all went out after the Flood and it was a smashing great time. The world got to be a little smaller when I found out that Jaron was at a YWAM in south africa with two people that I know quite well from Eagle's Nest. That was neat!

Today I am off to the city-wide pastoral meeting to pray with the city fathers and mothers and make contact for the praying for the city gates thing that a few of us are spearheading (the praying on the train as Jason has referred to... and if you haven't read his last entry, you HAVE TO!!! See links on the side). So that should be good.

This afternoon I'm gettng all my hair cut off, thank God. Every once and a while I have this urge to grow it long and then a few months later I just have to shake my head and wonder what the heck I was thinking.

It should be interesting to see what happens because I actually have some hair to work with.

I need to be leaving my house very soon for the trail ride across Edmonton again, so I need to go get ready.
