It Just Keeps Getting Better!
So, not only is Trisha coming up with a whole bunch of Redding for a visit in May but today I went out and purchased a little i-Pod Shuffle. Also good, but not half as exciting as a Trisha visit.
I figure that I am my own travelling office and I have been thinking about how to become more streamlined. When I go somewhere I usually have my suitcase of clothes and such, plus a back-pack full of my CD's, discman, books and such. That takes up a lot of room. So now I have eliminated the largest space-taker-upper by getting a tiny little thing which I can put 240 songs on and slip it into my pocket. I have these massive, super good headphones that I travel with all the time and the little shuffle makes them sing wonderfully!
Now I just need to get one of those palm things. Actually, what I'm wanting to do is get a blackberry because that mixes a cell phone, e-mail, and daytimer all in one. That will REALLY streamline and help with the travelling office thing.
If we could just figure out a way to make shoes ultra streamline...
Anywho, that is my materialistic entry for the day. I'm meeting up with Tyler, from the Flood tomorrow morning, which I am looking forward to. That guy is a good friend. And better yet, he shares my passion for St. Arbucks so we never have to figure out a place to meet up. Sadly, this time we will not be in the St. Albert Starbucks, so I won't get to see my friends there. Sorry, Carissa... haha... I know you are reading this!!
Which brings me to a little shout out and shameless advertising. Carissa's blog is really cool and she has lots of neat thoughts on it. I think you'll like it, so check it out!

yeah, I definitely have the day off today though so I wouldn't see you even if you did come. I actually don't ever get days off, so it's very exciting for me. I'm planning to talk to Jesus about Spiritual Enrichment days at church and then go out with Laura from work tonight for dessert and thrift store shopping. Please pray for me/her... we've been having good chats lately and this is the first time we're gonna do something outside of work so there's tremendous oppertunity to talk somemore but I'm kind of nervous. But still excited... heheeh. Indeed.
WELL, thanks for the shout out. I feel special lol
